We received a gift yesterday from one of John's co-workers. He knows John well. We can't wait for Salie to wear her first pair of Nikes. John has already ordered her first pair of tennis shoes, pink New Balance, but we haven't received them yet. This little girl will never hurt for a new pair of shoes!
Our vacuum broke about 2 weeks ago and we've been debating and researching on what kind to buy as a replacement. Finally, on Saturday, we broke down and bought a new one! A Dyson Ball Animal Vacuum! I love it and I love vacuuming now! Our cats aren't even scared of it since it is much quieter than most. However, it was very disgusting to see just how much dirt and animal hair was hidden in our home.
The cruel joke continues at our house with Salie's room decor. We took down all the alphabet letters and are working on a new plan for hanging them so that they don't fall and break. John's numbers have been successfully hanging for 2 weeks until last night. We heard a loud crash in Salie's nursery and sure enough, we have started losing numbers too. Eventually we will get these boogers to stay on the wall!
We go back to the doctor tomorrow. We've been walking the dogs or walking the mall just about every night. Hopefully, Salie will make her appearance soon!
