9 Months Already? Can it really have gone by this fast? Salie spent the night away from Mommy & Daddy last night for the first time & everyone survived! John & I spent the day in Memphis shopping for my birthday & enjoyed one another's company. Salie stayed in Leachville with my parents being spoiled rotten by them, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Shelby, & Great MawMaw. She went to church in Leachville this morning & was taught by the very best Bible class teacher, Nana!
Salie is crawling everywhere quickly! I call it the spider monkey. She uses her hands, one foot, and drags a knee but it is efficient. She is pulling up on everything & learning to sit back down but falls quite a bit still. She jabbers alot. She says "Da-Da" and we think we have heard "Ma-Ma, Pep, Bye, & Hi". She is drinking 3 bottles a day and eats 3 meals. She likes cereal, mangos, prunes, pears, apples, squash, zuchinni, green beans, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, carrots, etc....She highly dislikes chicken!!!
She loves things that bang, make noise, or squeak. She still loves to play with her rings and loves her new baby dolls. She likes to pull up on her baby stroller & chew on everything! She's a Houdini when it comes to socks but her tights make her mad! She's wearing 12 month clothes and size 4 shoes already! Her hair is thick & wild but still no curl just a little wave. It still looks dark unless in the sun & there is a distinct redness then.
She falls asleep in the carseat still, loves to roam in her walker opening drawers/cabinets and chasing the dogs, and likes her high chair. She is into everything! She sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hours at night but nap times are full on battles. We love her to the moon & back and consider ourselves truly blessed! God is so good!
