Salie is 7 months old today. She is quite the growler! It's adorable and nonstop. She is saying "dada" and smiling all the time. She is starting to reach for you and bury her head in your shoulder to stay with you. She is starting to play more independently.
She is our little sleepyhead, consistently sleeping from 8 pm to 5 am and usually then back to sleep until 8 am. I try to let her sleep in on the weekends but she usually sticks to the 5 am routine on Saturday and Sunday too.
I'm not really sure when you'd say she started rolling over because once she learned how she's never really liked to but now she likes to try to crawl, flop to her belly, and then roll herself over. When you are not looking, she can magically move to the other side of the pallet too.
She's persistent when she wants something, especially our phones or the remotes. It's fun to watch things catch her attention. The dogs are still her favorite and so funny to her. She is going for backwards strolls in the walker.
She is eating like a pro. She has now tasted zuchinni, squash, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, and green beans. She disliked apples! She's learning to drink from a sippy cup too.
We started taking baths in the big bath tub now. She likes her rubber duckies and bath books. She really likes to try to eat the wash cloths too.
Her favorite trick right now is trying to roll over while you change her diaper or pulling Mommy's hair so we're working on the words, "No-no". She made her first Memphis shopping trip Saturday and made it all day with no fuss!
