Salie's Favorite Spot....Relaxed in Daddy's Lap

     As you can see, we've been having lots of fun lately! John & I went on our first date without Salie this past Friday to the movies. We saw What To Expect When You Are Expecting and highly recommend it. It was extremely funny for us since we recently lived the storyline. My parents kept Salie and she doesn't look any worse for the wear. Salie turned 7 weeks on Friday also!

     On Saturday, Grandpa Al and Grandma Marcia arrived from Florida to visit and Uncle Aaron made it in from Hawaii to meet Salie for the first time! Salie has spent very little time not being held over the past few days and is loving every minute of it! We attended a wedding Saturday night while Al & Marcia kept Salie. Mommy survived but decided 2 outings in one weekend was a little much! What ever did I do before her? On Sunday, we celebrated Aaron & Shelby's engagement and attended a going away party for a family at church that we will truly miss!

     We have decided that the best way to scare a Marine is to give them a 7 week old baby! Aaron is about to deploy and will return in December. Salie will be 8 months old and ready to wrap him around her little finger when he comes to visit next time!

     Please say a pray today for John's Grandma Stallings. She will be having bypass surgery tomorrow at St. Bernard's hospital. Also, pray for Salie's Grandpa Al & Grandma Marcia as they travel home to Florida tomorrow evening after the surgery. We sure will miss them!
