Let It Go

Salie is playing soccer with Coach John! They are the "Oranges" and Salie wears her "unicorn" proudly. She is very uninterested in the actual sport but likes to talk about it and wear the gear. Coach John has his work cut out for him with 14 little soccer players ages 3-5.

 

Nana took us girls to see Frozen on Ice! Salie was mesmerized and kept trying to figure out how everything worked. She would lean over and whisper, "I'm so excited!". Elliott danced and sang and clapped through the whole performance. She twirled to the entire song of "Let It Go" and sang "Wet It Go" the whole way home. Salie pretty much ate a whole bag of cotton candy and Elliott loved the popcorn.

 

Daddy took us girls to the fair! Elliott was a brave little daredevil that had to be held back from riding everything and Salie was a very cautious rider who chose to avoid most rides. She did not like the carousel because it went up and down but loved driving the cars! Elliott was introduced to nachos and red velvet funnel cake and loved them both! Both girls enjoyed playing the games and winning prizes with their Daddy too. On the way there, Elliott was so excited to see the monkeys even with us explaining that they would not be there. She did not like the chickens, nor the Ninja Turtle character, but said afterwards that her favorite part was the monkeys!!! Salie said her favorite was the chickens!

 

Elliott so sweetly asks "Why?" all the time. She seems so little to be asking this question already but she has to catch up to sister with everything and she says it so innocently. Salie wanted her hair cut short to her ears so we compromised and cut it a little below her chin. She is so excited to tell everyone her hair is "Short!" and was disappointed to find out that she still had to brush it each morning.

 

Both girls are doing great at their new school! Salie talks about her classmates all the time and Elliott's best friend is her teacher, Miss Alix. Elliott is the oldest child in her class so now that she had decided to like school, she runs the show!
