Another month has come and gone with lots of McKnight circus fun!

Elliott now has a complete set of baby teeth, including all four 2 year molars (I hate teething!), is bossing everyone around ("Come, on!"), and has started daycare *tears*! It has been a difficult transition but we are transitioning. Day one was crying at drop-off and sad all day, day two was the same, day three was the worst with crying all day long, day four was off & on crying, and day five was fabulous! Then we started week two with fever & teething so I will leave the rest to the imagination but we are at day four and had a great day today! Salie transitioned to the new daycare beautifully and has blossomed (though she has had a few mysterious fevers in the last 24 hours)! She is such a little grown-up, so interested in how things work, talks non-stop, and has quite the imagination these days with her friend, Doh-Doh!

We now have a plan of action concerning her urine leakage problem and we love our doctor! We will be going to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock on October 14th for an outpatient procedure to confirm the diagnosis. The doctor believes that the ureter that attaches to her underdeveloped kidney in her pelvis is connected in the wrong place. Once this procedure confirms the course of action, we are tentatively scheduled for surgery on December 8th to correct the problem so that the ureter is attached to the bladder. Prayers are greatly appreciated!

John celebrated his 33rd birthday this month and we found out Elliott loves peanut butter cookie cake more than her Daddy! I returned to running and a healthier diet which has been challenging but rewarding! Salie continues to love all Disney princesses but Elliott has a new found obsession with "The Beast!". We can all quote Beauty and the Beast by heart now.
