8 weeks to go! John and I are vigorously trying to prepare for our worlds to be turned upside down. John was called back to Riceland last Friday and will be returning to a semi normal schedule Monday (Mon thru Fri 11pm to 7am). He is refereeing basketball around the area and tutoring at ASU, in addition, to taking 18 hours at school. How he does it I will never know! His car is officially fixed and back in our possession. A lady ran a red light and hit the Mustang about 2 weeks ago, John was not hurt thank goodness, and we've been playing the "It will be ready tomorrow" game for way too long.
No pictures on today's update but hopefully plenty to come. Our goal this weekend is to finish Salie's closet so we have a place to put things after our shower this Sunday. We have 2 more scheduled showers now. My friend, Morgan is hosting a shower at her home on Sat, Feb 25th and Leachville Church of Christ is having a shower Sun, Feb 26th. Then, we have to fix our closet. Half of our wardrobe is on the kitchen table since the entire bottom rack of our closet fell last week at 3:00 am. I quickly came to the realization that we have too many clothes! At least now we can design our closet to better hold John's large shoe collection.
We are currently experiencing 60 degree weather with Mosquitos creeping around on Wed, Feb 1st! Never a dull moment here! God Bless!
