Wow! Where has the time gone? I'm now 28 weeks and a bit nervous that that means only 12 weeks left to prepare if Salie chooses to arrive as scheduled. It's been a busy couple of months. John was laid off from Riceland on December 2nd. He has a part-time job at Advance Auto Parts and has begun refereeing elementary basketball games. He has also been working vigorously to complete the nursery and keep my house clean. We are patiently waiting to see what happens next with Riceland. He will start back to school on January 17th with an expected graduation date of May 2013!
Our washing machine has been on the fritz since October and we finally broke down and bought a new one last night. What a relief! I can finally do clothes without the floor flooding. Salie is ever so active these days and my belly is continously growing. We took a few amateur maternity photos with our new camera. We also have all the crib furniture set up now. As soon as I get the bedding washed and John hangs the curtain rod, we will add pictures. His next project is redoing the closet and we have to find someone to paint Salie's name above the crib. We have intentions of doing an alphabet wall above the changer too so shopping we will go!
