We Went To Dallas!!!

We took our first family vacation since Elliott arrived and a had a blast! Salie was so excited to "Go to Dallas" that she was telling anyone who would listen. We had a great time and learned that traveling with a 2 year old and 9 month old can be hilarious and challenging.

Here we go!

Movies on the Ipad were amazing to this one...Pirate Fairies was her favorite!

This mini fridge was by far Elliott's favorite thing about the whole trip!

We enjoyed the Dallas Farmer's market and then went to a local mall to look at a playhouse exhibit. They were incredible!

Salie & Elliott both loved the fountain in  the mall too!

We went swimming at the hotel. Not Elliott's favorite thing, but Salie is such a dare devil it makes Mommy very nervous! Swimming lessons next summer are a must!

The hotel provided lots of entertainment but we also went to a Texas Rangers game. I honestly was dreading it due to the heat and Elliott needing to be held. It rained right until game time, dropped to 80 degrees, and left us with perfect baseball weather. We all really enjoyed it!

Our hotel was right next to a Krispy Kreme and Daddy bought new shoes for his birthday leaving Elliott with entertainment galore!

Our in front of the stadium pictures have become more complicated as a family of four all trying to look at the camera at the same time!

Monkey See, Monkey Do, Mini Fridge!!!

Daddy thought this bridge was really cool and...

Mommy really liked this ball that glowed different colors at night.

Perfect dinner dates

Before we left we stopped at the Children's aquarium designed just for little eyes. Salie was not a fan of this alligator that came straight up to the glass to meet her but after we convinced her "He not get out of his cage", she was okay with him.

These two were pretty good car riders! Salie fell asleep snacking a few times.

As soon as we got home, Salie dumped out their blocks and these two played hard for an hour. There's no place like home!
