Has it really been a year? My, oh my, how I understand the phrase "time flies when you're having fun" nowadays! Salie has been nothing but pure joy since the day she arrived! She has blessed John & I more than we could have ever imagined. We are so truly grateful that God gave us her and trusted us to raise her! I look forward to every day with a whole new enthusiasm now that she is in our lives. It is so much fun to relive things through her eyes.
Salie is now taking around 10 steps but can pretty much get anywhere she wants to go. She has a new "cheesing" smile with 6 teeth. We think a 7th and possibly 8th are on their way through. She still crawls by dragging the right leg. She plays with toys, gives kisses, loves her babies, reads books, rolls a ball, puts things in & takes things out, eats a lot of table food, still takes 2 bottles a day, loves bath time, squeals, giggles, babbles, dances, and captures your heart!
She says "dada, mama, hi, bye, pepper, thank you, yeah" and mimics a lot of other things. She sleeps about 11 hours at night with a blanket and stuffed animal and takes 2 one to one & half hour naps during the day. She is wearing 12 month & 18 month clothes. She wears about 21 pounds and is tall! She is a big Daddy's girl and loves her puppy dogs! She is the best!
